Framed original oil on board by Belgian artist Félix Eyskens (1907–1991), signed in the lower corner. The painting depicts two figures walking beneath an arched passage in old Brussels, rendered in his expressive post-impressionist style with rich light and shadow. A handwritten label on the reverse reads: “Impression / Vieille huile sur bois / Bruxelles.”
Eyskens, a student of F. Courtens, was born in Antwerp and later worked in Paris, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands before returning to Belgium. His works are held in several Belgian museums.
