An original vintage French abstract oil painting on canvas, featuring a geometric composition in shades of deep brown with accents of mustard yellow, olive green, blue and cream. Overlapping forms, fine linear detailing and textured brushwork give the painting a distinctive modernist, cubist-inspired quality.
Presented in a substantial vintage wooden frame with an attractive distressed silver and gilt finish, complementing the darker tones of the painting.
Good vintage condition, with age-related wear to the frame.
Original oil on canvas, 31 × 36 cm. Framed and ready to hang.
