An atmospheric original oil on board attributed to British artist Frederick Reveall, believed to depict one of the ponds at Hampstead Heath, London. Painted in a restrained palette of dusky greens, warm peach tones and soft reflections, the composition captures the quiet stillness of the landscape with an impressionistic sensitivity to light and atmosphere.
Although unsigned, the painting was acquired as part of the sale of the artist's estate and is attributed to Reveall. It has been newly framed in a slim solid dark wood frame with a light slip.
Oil on board, 45.5 × 35.5cm. Ready to hang.
Good overall vintage condition with light age-related wear commensurate with age. Please refer to the photographs and get in touch directly if you have any questions.
