An original oil on board attributed to British artist F. C. Reveall, depicting the colourful Victorian townhouses overlooking one of the ponds at Hampstead Heath, London.
Painted in a restrained palette with an impressionistic sensitivity to light and atmosphere, the work was acquired as part of the artist's estate and is attributed to Reveall despite being unsigned. It forms part of a pair and can be sold together or individually.
Presented in a newly commissioned slim solid dark wood frame with a light slip. In good overall vintage condition with light age-related wear commensurate with age.
