A striking original Swedish oil painting on board, signed and dated 1947, depicting a colourful coastal harbour scene.
Painted with expressive brushwork in a particularly attractive palette of powder blue, turquoise, terracotta, dusty pink and burgundy, the composition has a distinctly mid-century Scandinavian character.
Hand-sourced in Sweden and presented in a substantial, bevelled solid wooden frame with gilt detailing. Note there is some light wear to areas of the frame including the corners, please study photographs carefully.
Signed and dated 1947, although the artist's signature remains unidentified.
Oil on board, 69 × 59.5cm. Framed and ready to hang.
