A matching pair of vintage Florentine-style toleware wall sconces, with painted floral decoration, gilded foliage and a beautifully aged finish.
Made from shaped metal in soft turquoise, pale blue and pink, with scrolling gilt leaf swags and decorative floral details. The painted and gilded surfaces have developed an attractive distressed patina over time.
The exact age, maker and country of manufacture are unconfirmed but likely to be French or Swedish made.
Good overall decorative vintage condition, with age-related wear and patination throughout. The electrical components have not been tested and should be inspected by a qualified electrician before installation; rewiring may be required.
