Small original French oil on board depicting fishing boats moored along a harbourfront with pastel-toned waterside buildings and a church tower rising in the distance. Painted in a loose, atmospheric style with soft reflections and warm ochre tones throughout.
Signed lower left, though the artist’s name is difficult to decipher. An inscription on the reverse appears to read “Ports de Pêche”.
Presented in its original bevelled wooden Montparnasse frame with subtle gilt detailing.
