Original vintage French oil painting depicting the hilltop town of St Paul de Vence, hand sourced in France and presented in its original carved wooden Montparnasse frame.
Richly textured and painted in warm ochre, terracotta, cream and olive tones, the scene captures the Provençal town, cypress trees and surrounding landscape. The painting is signed to the lower left, although the signature is indistinct.
Good overall vintage condition with age-related wear to both painting and frame, including some wear to the underside/corner of the frame. Please refer to the photographs for full condition.
Oil on board, 39 × 33.5cm. Framed and ready to hang.
